

Open Position: Certified Montessori Toddler Teacher (January 2024)
Job Qualifications:

Minimum of an associate's degree, AMS/AMI, or a MACTE-accredited training certificate.

Prior experience working in a licensed childcare facility, preferably a Montessori school
-
Familiarity and compliance with WA state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience

A strong commitment to the authentic Montessori method and philosophy
Responsibilities:
-
The teacher will be responsible for delivering an authentic Montessori program, fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and respect among children
-
Make a positive impact on children's education and development
-
Supervise and manage the classroom, ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment for children
-
Foster independence, critical thinking, and self-esteem in children
-
Maintain open communication with parents, regularly reporting on children's progress
-
Adhere to licensing guidelines and follow company standards for childcare

Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive and enriching educational experience

Attend and participate in staff meetings, training, school events, and professional development sessions
