Open Position: Primary Certified Montessori Teachers (Mandarin Speaking)

Job Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of an associate's degree, AMS/AMI, or a MACTE-accredited training certificate.

  • Prior Montessori  Lead teacher experience (At least two years)

  • Strong classroom management and curriculum implementation skills

  • Familiarity and compliance with WA state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience

  • A strong commitment but with an open mindset to the authentic Montessori philosophy & current scientific research. 

Responsibilities:

  • The teacher will be responsible for delivering an authentic Montessori program, fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and respect among children

  • Make a positive impact on children's education and development

  • Supervise and manage the classroom, ensuring a clean, nurturing and stimulating environment for children

  • Foster independence, critical thinking, and self-esteem in children

  • Maintain open communication with parents, regularly reporting on children's progress

  • Adhere to licensing guidelines and follow company standards for childcare

  • Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive and enriching educational experience

  • Attend and participate in staff meetings, training, school events, and professional development sessions
